Show j Capture Tennis Honors ! Milford tennis club members : didn't faro so well in Sunday 1 afternoons matches with players I from the Desert Range L'xperi-I L'xperi-I ment station, who took the honors ! in three of the four contests. Milford won the match in which Martin Corn and Foster .Morris fought it out with Selar S. Huteh-ings Huteh-ings and Howard Farnsworth, but Hutchings and his playing mate, Ben R. Stahmann, took the honors in the hardest fought match of the tournament and one of the hardest battles in the memory of some of the players when they won over S. G. Hickman and Roy Coleman of Milford. Other contests which the Experiment Ex-periment station players won were: Stahmann and James Jacobs, Ja-cobs, playing against Walt Martin and Vernon Burns of Milford; and Ira Clark and Victor Surface against Bud Hutchins and John Gimmel of Milford. All four matches ran into four sets each. |
