Chalmers Davis, Beaver center-fielder, center-fielder, made a phenomenal grassroots grass-roots (almost) catch of Rochek's hard drive in the seventh inning a play that brought him a big hand from the fans on both sides. Coleman, Cole-man, brilliant young Milford short-stop, made a wonderful showing at his post, making three great catches and pegs to first in the first half of the third and another an-other in the fourth to finish the inning. Rochek's error in the second sec-ond inning was a costly one and might have spelled defeat for Milford Mil-ford but for the hatting talent of his pals.
