Show Milford CCC Notes The assaying and leathercraft classes are now in full swing. The boys now can take their ore to the class with them and see for themselves them-selves just what they have. The assaying class is under the instruction in-struction of Lieutenant Wallace H. Morris, and he reports a very good attendance and attention for a newly organized class. A good interest is also shown in leather-craft, leather-craft, and the boys are making many useful articles under the instruction in-struction of Mr. Hughes of the Milford high school. The boys of this camp seem anxious for the baseball season to open. A number of them started working on their new diamond Saturday. There has also been plans made for construction of a new tennis court. Chris Chesley and Parmley Stevens attended the dance in Beaver Thursday night. Thomas Forbis, Gordon Grayson Gray-son and Lige C. Martin were discharged dis-charged Monday. It will soon be time for re-enrollment and the boys, at least some of them, are undecided whether they are going to stay with the C C C's or go home. It has become a very popular question ques-tion here at the headquarters of this company, "When do I leave?" and, "When do we sign up again?" There was a very interesting program given in the recreation hall Friday night by Reverend Baerg of Milford. Pictures were shown on the life of Christ. 1 . n |
