Show Mrs. George Fronime and three I children were week-end visitors in Salt Lake. Dr. and Mrs. J. .!. Weir left Tuesday fur a few da s visit in .Salt Lake City. Mrs. J. II. Hanlon and daughter Margaret were Salt Lake visitors over the week-end. Mrs. G. C. Cuddy and daughter Sarah returned home from Los Angeles Sunday, after a few days visiting and shopping there. Mrs. llarvy Ilenlin and baby of Magna have been visiting at the homo of Mrs. Henlin's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Flint MeOlc-lland. Howard Wilson, son of J. E. Wilson, Democratic county chairman, chair-man, was down from Salt Lake the latter part of the week for a visit witli his father. Mrs. Vena Wilson left this (Thursday) morning for a vacation vaca-tion trip to Los Angeles, where she will visit several weeks and also receive medical aid. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Monroe of St. Louis arrived in Mil ford Friday for an indefinite visit with Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Decker. Mr. Monroe is Mrs. Decker's brother. Miss Madeleine Keough spent the week-end in Milford with home folks, returning to Salt Lake Monday morning to resume her studies at the St. Marys college. She was accompanied back to Salt Lake by her mother, who will visit there for several days. Hay Tripp and Don Morehead, both coining here on transfer from the Butte, Montana, airways radio station, arrived in Milford Friday and Saturday of last week to take up duties at the Milford station, taking the places of Operators Perkins and Gimmel. The last of the carload of Hud-son-Terraplane cars recently shipped ship-ped in by the W. R. Martin garage, ga-rage, went to A. 0. Hardy of Min-ersville, Min-ersville, who purchased a Terra-plane Terra-plane brougham. Dave Glenn, local railroad man, is the owner of the handsome new Hudson sedan. The Pierian club met at the home of Mrs. John Low Tuesday night with the following present: Mesdames Ed Bardsley, J. R. Mur-dock, Mur-dock, L. G. Clay, 0. C. Koch, I. L. Kelly, Roy White sr. and Vena Wilson. The evening was spent in reading and discussing current articles after which a dainty lunch was served by the hostess. Mrs. A. A. Mclntyre entertained entertain-ed Monday afternoon in honor of the sixth birthday of her son Bobby Games were played and a dainty lunch was served to the following children: Morris Root, Ann Marie and Mary Outzen, Corrine Clay, Dickie Gillum, Neil Garfield, John Peterson, Thomas and Deloras Bardfield, Billie Beazer and' Billie Banks. A number of women spent an enjoyable two or three hours Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Charles Chamberlain, it being her birthday. Bridge was played and those present were Mesdames W. 0. Carlson, Tex You.-..?, i:u!o!nh Nielsen, Myron Lev. is IWeli Smyth, Willard Nichols and X. C. Schow. Ti e local Band Mothers club v. ;il sponsor a musical and dance, to be eivwi Friday, March 20, at. the MiL'ord hiyh school. Admis- sion will be charged for the musical musi-cal but the dance and refresh-will refresh-will be free to all attending the conceit. Come out and help a good cause. Watch for hand-bills for further information. The Big Four club was entertained enter-tained at the home of Mrs. Ray Malstrom Wednesday with Mrs. G rover Cuddy receiving the club prize ami Mrs. J. P. Holm the guest prize. Those present were Mrs. I!. F. Ilutchins, Mrs. G. C. Cuddy, Mrs. J. H. Hanlon, Mrs. Lloyd Lee, Mrs. J. C. Jeffers, Mrs. Jack Weston, Mrs. J. P. Holm and Mrs. Ed Peterson. Mrs. Myron Lewis was hostess to the Saturday afternoon contract con-tract bridge club with Mrs. John Williams winning the prize for high points, Mrs. Rudolph Nielsen Niel-sen the prize for high honors and Mrs. M. H. Pool receiving consolation con-solation prize. Those present were Mesdames John Williams, M. H. Pool, Rudolph Nielsen, George Fernley, W. C. Gates, Douglas Ryan, William Cochrane and Jack Weston. Mrs. W. G. White and Mrs. Thomas Beard were hostesses to j tile Veterans of Foreign Wars I Auxiliary and guests at the White ' home Tuesday evening. Bridge j was played with Mrs. L. B. Wad- dingham receiving the prize for ' high points, Mrs. William Gardner j the prize fo- high honors. Mrs. : Earl Gleason consolation prize ' and Mrs. Charlotte Smyth the guest prize. Those present were Mesdames J. C. Jeffers, Harvey Dean, Owen Stoker, George Litchfield, Litch-field, William Dawson, L. B.
