Show Funeral Services Held For Wimmer Banks Funeral services for Wimmer Banks, 37, were held Saturday afternoon of last week at the Belvedere Bel-vedere L. D. S. ward chapel, Glen-dale, Glen-dale, California, with interment taking place in Inglewood Park cemetery. Mr. Banks was almost instantly killed April 5 in the East Los Angeles yards of the Union Pacific railroad when a heavy platform collapsed as he was removing a pair of wheels from a Streamliner. 'Surviving the unfortunate man are his widow, Ruth Valentine Banks; a son and two daughters, Wayne H Leona Ruth, and Emma Em-ma Laverne Banks of Los Angeles; An-geles; his father, Leonard Banks, cf Milford; two brothers, Pete Banks of Milford and Winslow Banks, with the U. S. coast guard; and three sisters, Mrs. Pauline Bronson of San Diego, Mrs. Mary Spykerman 0f Washington, Wash-ington, D. C, and Miss Margaret Banks of Milford. |
