The evening was spent chatting and sewing. A lovely birthday gift was presented to Mildred Eld-ridge. Eld-ridge. At 11 o'clock a delicious plate lunch was served to Cleo Bauer. ROBBIE STONEHOCKER MARKS ANNIVERSARY Mrs. Earl Stonehocker entertained enter-tained her son Bobbie and his friends at a dinner party last Thursday, April 4, the occasion being be-ing the eighth anniversary of young Bobbie's birth. A gleeful afternoon was enjoyed by Joline Winn, Jeanne Young, Marie Baxter, Cleo Westover, Ruth Cline. Alice Cook, Falley Jones, Sheron Kesler, Marlene Lund, David Bird, Warner Cummings, Randall Carson, Wade Baxter, Randy Banks, Raeldon Baudino. A very cleverly decorated table was set on the lawn following the Easter motif. Many games were played, with Joline Winn and Randall Ran-dall Carson winning the prizes. Bobbies friends favored him with many lovely gifts. LDS OFFICERS, TEACHERS HONOR D ELBERT EDWARDS The Sunday School officers and teachers of the L. D. S. church honored Delbert Edwards yesterday yester-day (Thursday) at a party in the home of Mrs. Mae Carter. Mr. Ed-Wards Ed-Wards leaves soon to make his home in Salt Lake City. Mr. Edwards is a member of the Sunday School Superintend-ency, Superintend-ency, and during his stay here his work in that capacity has been deeply appreciated by his coworkers. MRS. JEFFERSON HOST AT LUNCHEON Mrs. George Jefferson entertained enter-tained a group of friends at a luncheon party last Tuesday evening. eve-ning. Enjoying her hospitality were Mrs. Walter Janles of Black Rock, Mrs. Donald Blackstock and daughter Donna, Mrs. Oakley Nelson Nel-son and daughters Marie and Shirley, Shir-ley, Mrs. Earl Stonehocker and son Bobbie, Mrs. M. I. Walters, and W. N. McMillen. The table was attractively decorated, dec-orated, with white carnations as the centerpiece and daffodils beautifully arranged to enhance the cheerfulness of the room. Following the dinner, a social evening was enjoyed by those present. |
