Show SOUTH MiLFORD Gene White and Nola Sly were married last week and on Wednesday Wednes-day evening a party was held at I the club house for them. About ; 75 friends attended. j The girls of South Milford gave ; a shower for Donna Williams Hardy at the Leonard Bowen residence resi-dence last Thursday. .Mr. and Mrs. Ivan McKnight and son Jess, accompanied by Mrs. McKnight's mother, Mrs. Moroni Myers of Minersville, went to St. George Saturday to attend the wedding of their son, Karl Murdock, Mur-dock, and Miss Josephine White. Mrs. Edna Baker entertained her club from town Wednesday. A two-course dinner was served at noon, after which the time was :pent quilting. Mrs. Gertrude Cook and Mrs. Walter Cook and children spent Monday in town with Mrs. Bertha Cottrell. Mrs. Howard Cook spent Mon. day visiting with her parent, Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Koch. Miss Glenna Rollins has gone to Ogden, where she has accepted a position. A number of fanners have had their horses vaccinated for brain fever this week. v : Bill Kirk, who has been attending attend-ing school at the Brigham Young university, returned home last Thursday for the summer vacation. |
