McFadden of Salt i Lake City visited the early part of I the week at the home of Mr. and I Mrs. W. S. Parkinson. While here Mrs. McFadden attended the Rebecca Re-becca lodge at Beaver and Milford. Robert B. Fotheringham, S 2 c, son of Mrs. Ireta Albreeht, was' discharged on July 19 from the naval separation center at Shoemaker, Shoe-maker, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Koch, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hearne and Mrs. George Fox motored to Richfield on Friday of last week, for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd B. Hansen and family. They returned late the same evening. Mr and Mrs. Roy Hearne and Mrs. George Fox returned last Friday Fri-day to their homes in Indiana after spending a week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Koch. Boyd O. Evans, S 1c, son of Duard Evans of Milford, was discharged dis-charged from the naval separation center at Shoemaker, Calif., on July 18. Mrs. L. P. Coleman left Thursday Thurs-day for Salt Lake City, where she will continue medical treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Elden Hardy of Salt Lake City are in Milford visiting vis-iting with Mr. and Mrs. Luther Hardy and family. Lawrence Eldridge is in Salt Lake City on business. Mrs. I. N. Nolder of Minersville, and little granddaughter, Sandra Petty, spent Thursday at the home of Mrs. Nolder's daughter, Mrs. S. A. Williams. Helen Falkner returned to her home in Salt Lake last Monday, after enjoying a visit with her cousin, Jean Eldridge. HOME FOR SALE 4 rms. and full basement. Roy White Sr. Mr. and Mr. Vertis Nielsen of Ephraim sptui last week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Young. Mrs W. O. Nelson and children, Larry anck Cheryl, are now living at Long Beach, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Bauer and son Allen were in Cedar City last Saturday and Sunday, to help observe ob-serve the 75th birth anniversary of Keith's father, Samuel Bauer. An 8 lb. 4 oz. baby boy was born Sunday, July 21, to Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Whisler, at the Milford hospital. hos-pital. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jessup of Minersville are the proud parents of a baby boy, born Tuesday, July 23, at the Milford hospital. The new son weighed 7 lbs . Duayne Williams of South Milford Mil-ford was in Ogdcn to spend the Twenty-Fourth with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lay of Santa Ana, Calif., are spending their vacation va-cation in Cedar City. Last Sunday the couple motored to South Milford Mil-ford to spend the day with friends. Nancy and Leonard Hillman are in 'Enterprise, visiting their grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Terry. Mrs. Vivian Muncey accompanied her sister, Mrs. L. F. Weathcr-ston, Weathcr-ston, to Salt Lake City last Saturday Sat-urday morning, to spend the day. Mrs. WcatherHtone continued on to her home in Rexburg, Idaho, and Mrs. Muncey reutrncd to Milford on Sunday. Mr. Albert BernUen is recuperating recuper-ating satisfactorily from an appendectomy, ap-pendectomy, performed this week at the Milford hospital. Mr. and Mrs. K. B. Coon and sons, Herbert and Blair, the latter recently discharged from the armed services, have enjoyed a most Interesting In-teresting vacaiton. Accompanied by Mrs. Jack Thief fen of New York, they spent the Fourth of July in Ely, and after returning home took in the sights at Zions Canyon and other Southern Utah parks. After the parks tour, they were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. J. L McDonald on a two-day trip to Puffer's Lake. |
