Show YOUNG LIVESTOCK GROWERS TO REAP $200,000 HARVEST An estimated $200,000 awaits livestock project members of the 4-H and Future Farmer clubs of the Intermountain West at North Salt Lake on June 3, 4 and 5, at the Intermountain Junior Fat Stock Show, considered one of the most important exclusively "junior" "jun-ior" shows in the country. In adition to $3000 in awards made by the show committee, according ac-cording to Merrill Parkin, show manager, there will be a predicted $200,000 in auction sales, $100 in merchandise essay awards, 12 live lambs and nearly a score of special prizes awarded by breeding associations, asso-ciations, some cash and some trophies, tro-phies, amounting in value to several sev-eral hundreds of dollars. The show is sponsored by the State of Utah, the Salt Lake 'County Commission, the Davis County Commission, and the Livestock Committee of the Salt Lake City Chamber of Commerce. With the exception of printing costs, entertainment enter-tainment for nearly 550 entries, and wages for a few minor attendants, al) of the sponsors' subscriptions go to the boys themselves.
