Show Dern Outzen spent Monday and Tuesday in Salt Lake. . Bill Tribole spent a few days in Salt Lake this week. Mrs. Frank Kuchenraeister was' a week-end visitor in Salt Lake. Sam Cline, local attorney, has spent several days the past week in Salt Lake. Mrs. J. C. Jeffers and children, Jay and Vera, spent Saturday in Salt Lake. O. F. Hubbell of Caliente visited visit-ed in Milford over Sunday, enroute to Ogden. Mrs. J. M. Williams returned home Wednesday after visiting in Salt Lake from Saturday morning. The Big Four Bridge club met at the home of Mrs. Lloyd Lee Wednesday night with Mrs. Ray ' Malstrom winning the house prize and Mrs. Wilson Moore and Mrs. J. P. Holm winning the traveling prizes. Others present were Mrs. Robert Price, Mrs. Grover Cuddy, , Mrs. George Moore, Mrs. J. H.j Hanlon and Mrs. B. E. Hutchins. f A considerable increase in local WPA workers had made possible some mighty fine progress on storm gutter construction along the east side of Main street this week and all concerned are to be heartily commended. Mrs Frank Kuchsnmeister was hostess to her bridge club Tuesday Tues-day evening with Mrs. Gene Kirk receiving club prize, Mrs. George Rodger9 house prize and Mrs. J. C. Smith consolation. Mrs. J. L. Low entertained the Pierian club at her home Tuesday night at a dinner and stork shower for Mrs. Frank Doble, after which current news of the day were read and discussed. McFadden Winnie Gray, daughter of Mrs.! Viva Gray, left here Sunday 1 moning for Elizabeth, Kentucky, where she will spend the spring and summer months visiting with : her sister and brother-on-law, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Hornbeck. At the regular monthly meeting i of the local Parent-Teachers association, asso-ciation, to be held Monday, March 28, D. C. Houston, of the state board of health, will give a health talk and Beverly Weston will give a piano solo. After the meeting a social dance will be held in the high school gym. The proceeds from the dance will be used for school lunches. Milton Fillmore, 13, son of Lee and Nellie Fillmore of Annabella, was dead Monday of a fractured skull suffered when the car in which he was riding with several other youths went out cf control and turned over on the road between be-tween Annabella and Central. The Fillmore family were residents of South Milford until two or three years ago and young Milton was a student of the local school. A number of women met at the LaMar Outzen home Saturday in honor of Mrs. Outzen's birthday. Bridge was enjoyed with Mrs. M. H. Pool winning high points prize, Mrs. William Cochrane high honors prize and Mrs. Thomas Gerrard consolation prize. Others present were Mesdames J. R. Murdock jr., Myron Lewis, James Lang, Rudolph Ru-dolph Nielsen, W. O. Carlson, William Wil-liam Cochrane, George Moore, E. L. Smith, Joy Christensen, Clinton Bond, Thomas Gerrard, Gene Kirk. J. C. Smith, J. M. Hughes, M. H. Pool, Willis Whitbeck, Max Root, Dick Johnson and Antone Johnson. Last Friday afternoon a number of friends called at the J. C. Smith home to help Mrs. Smith celebrate her birthday. Those present were Mrs. J. R. Murdock jr., Mrs. Clinton Bond, Mrs. Antone An-tone John-son, Mrs. George Moore, Mrs. E. L. Smith, Mrs. II. H. Pool, Mrs. Max Root, Mrs. Willis Whitbeck, Whit-beck, Mrs. LaMar Outzen, Mrs. W. O. Carlson, Mrs. William Cochrane, Coch-rane, Mrs. James Lang, Mrs. J. B. Sylvester, Mrs. A. C. Jensen, Mrs. Rudolph Nielsen, Mrs. Bert Nichols and Mrs. Gene Kirk. The afternoon was enjoyed playing bridge with Mrs. Gene Kirk winning win-ning high points prize, Mrs. W. O.
