Show m BurbankCCC Notes The personnel and enrollees of Company 1508 wish to extend, through the medium of the Milford Mil-ford News, their best wishes to the personnel and' enrollees of Company 469 as the latter company com-pany leaves to return to the Fourth Corps area. Company 1508 has received many courtesies from the com-Jmanding com-Jmanding officer of Company 469 and the enrollees of both companies, com-panies, though coming from totally total-ly different parts of the United States, have always been on the most friendly relations. Using the town at Milford' as a recreation center common to both companies, there has never been any friction between the two C C C companies. It is to be hoped that the personnel per-sonnel of the new CCC company, which we undersand will arrive within the week, will appreciate the courteous and friendly attitude of Milford, their new recreation center. While Milford, like most western towns, is not large, comparatively, com-paratively, as the towns in the east with which most enrollees have been familiar, it has proven a progressive, lively community with a friendly tolerance for boys far from home, but with a friendly warning that good times must not exceed a reasonable limit. The administrative personnel of Company 1508 extend to the new company its best wishes for a long and happy stay in their new home. M |
