Show NAVY'S V-5 TRAINING STARTS MARCH FIRST On March 1, young men from all over the country will report to one of our leading universities to be given up to four semesters of college col-lege training under Navy V-5, the naval aviation preparatory program. pro-gram. These men are high school j graduates 17 to 21 years of age, and are apprentice seamen, TJ. S. Naval Reserve. . At the same time, another group of young men who have already completed two years of college will be reporting to Navy Pre-flight schools throughout the United States. These men take in those between the ages of 18 and 23, and are the AVCAD's, U. S. Naval Reserve. Re-serve. Our great peacetime navy has set up the finest aviation training in the world. As a result, our aviators avi-ators in experience and training stand second to none. Their ca- reers in the expanding field of aviation are assured. Enlistments for these programs are now being taken for those young men whe can qualify and who have a strong desire to fly.
