Show FIRMAGE THEATRE Friday May Robson's latest starring vehicle, ve-hicle, "Three Kids and a Queen," is coming to the Firmage theatre Friday only. The picture is a fast-moving fast-moving comedy-drama in which Miss Robson has a part which fits her like a glove, that of an eccentric, eccen-tric, wealthy old maid, whose relations re-lations attempt to have her adjudged ad-judged insane in order that they may get control of her money, but who cunningly evades them and confuses her kidnapers with the help of Henry Armetta and his three kids. Frankie Darro, William Wil-liam Benedict and Billy Burrud, a new child discovery, play the three kids, while others in the cast are j Charolotte Henry, John Miljan, 1 Hale Hamilton, Hedda Hopper and i many others. An "Our Gang" comedy will also be shown. Saturday Something new in pocket-pick-infr is introduced by Laurel and Hardy in their latest and greatest full-length fun feature, "The Bohemian Bo-hemian Girl," coming to the Firmage Fir-mage theatre Saturday only. As gypsy vagabonds, the boys indulge in a little light-fingered work on the side but come to g?-ief before they amass any considerable for-j for-j tune. This sequence is one of the most hilarious in the entire picture and affords Stan and "Ollie" an opportunity to display their inimitable inim-itable style of pantomime to advantage. ad-vantage. Among others in the supporting sup-porting cast are Antone Moreno, Jacqueline Wells, Mae Busch, James Finlayson, Darla Hood and William P. Carleton. A "Betty Boop" cartoon and a comedy will also be shown. Sunday and Monday "Magnificent Obsession," Universale Uni-versale production, described in advance news releases from Hollywood Holly-wood as one of the screen's outstanding out-standing film plays, comes to the Firmage theatre Sunday and Monday. Irene Dunne and Robert Taylor play the starring roles in this absorbing photoplay, a lavishly produced story directed by John M. Stahl. It's poignant drama begins in New York City and later moves to Paris, finally reaching its climax cli-max in Virginia. The- picture's j principal theme is a tender love, story between Miss Dunne and Taylor, Tay-lor, which reaches a a heart puis- j ing climax when the main figures of the narrative are threatened with tragedy. Important roles are enacted by Charles Butterworth. Betty Furness, Ralph Morgan Sara Haden, Gilbert Emery and Henry Armetta. Also shown these nights will be a Fox movietone news and a Silly Symphony cartoon. car-toon. Tuesday and Wednesday A popular song has come to life on the screen "The Music Goes 'Round", featuring Rochelle Hudson Hud-son and Harry Richman. Also chapter 6 of "Flash Gordon" and "The March of Time" will be shown. Thursday A never-to-be-forgotten lesson of the danger of trying to direct the lives of others is contained in the soul stirring "The Return of Peter Grimm," with Lionel Barry-more Barry-more in the leading role. From the Great Beyond, Peter Grimm looks back on earth and views the tragedies trage-dies among his loved ones resulting result-ing from his meddling efforts to bend them to his will. In an effort to right his wrongs, Peter returns to earth, but finds himself unable to make his presence known. Only his collie, Toby, senses his presence. pres-ence. Finally, he is able to reveal re-veal himself through the efforts of a dying child who loved him. His loved ones saved from the tragedy which threatened them, Peter returns re-turns to the spirit realm from which he came, taking the child I and the old dog with him. Helen i Mack plays the leading feminine I role with a supporting cast which includes Edward Ellis, Donald Meek, George Breakston and many others.
