Show Burial At Glendale For Milford Girl Graveside services were held Monday morning, February 4, at Forest Lawn cemetery, Glendale, California, for Mrs. Alice Schow Ashworth, 25, wife of George Ash-worth. Ash-worth. Mrs. Ashworth had undergone under-gone an operation for appendicitis j and developed a case of scarlet : fever a day or so thereafter, passing pass-ing away on Thursday. Mrs. Ashworth was born in Milford Mil-ford February 6, 1909, a daughter daugh-ter of Nels and Nellie Fothering-ham Fothering-ham Schow. She was educated in the Milfora schools and later employed em-ployed in the offices of Dr. C. R. Parrish and Dr. Lloyd F. Kohler, 1 and also by the J. C. Penney company in Milford. She was married to George Ashworth of Glendale, California, on March 30, 1929, and has lived in California since that time. Besides her husband she is survived sur-vived by her parents and four sisters, Mrs. Marie Ix?wis, Milford; Mil-ford; -Mrs. Letha Smyth and Mrs. Melta Weston, Cedar City, and Mrs. Frank Crookston, Las Vegas, Nevada; three brothers, Spencer Schow, Milford; Thomas Schow, St. George, and K. N. Schow, Grand Junction, Colorado. Among those attending the burial were Mr. and Mrs N. C. Schow, Mr. and Mrs. Spcnce Schow and Mr. and Mrs. Powell Smyth form Milford; al.-o Mr. and Mrs. Tom Schow, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Tanner, Mrs. J. H. We.-ton and Mrs. Charlotte Smyth. |
