Show Milford Hoopsters Lose To Hinckley The Milford high school basketball basket-ball team made a nice showing at the start of the game with Hinckley Hinck-ley Saturday night and it looked like Milford was going to be able to duplicate Minersville's action of the night before, when the Hinckley Hinck-ley visitors were taken into camp by Minersville, 34-30. But Mil-ford's Mil-ford's 13-9 lead in the first quarter was the sum total of their spurt, however, as the visiting cagers ran up 17 points to Milford's 3 in the second canto and continued toward to-ward a total score of 53 against the 12 points garnered by Milford in the last three quarters, the final score beng 53-21, in favor of Hinckley. Beaver holds an unblemished district leadership by reason of two more victories last week. They took Fillmore into camp on Friday night by a score of 37-25 but had a narrow escape from defeat at Delta Saturday night when they nosed out the Rabbits by a single point, the final score being 35-34. Beaver made 16 field goals to Delta's 13, but the latter team converted 8 out of 12 free tosses while Beaver made 3 out of the 5 they were awarded. Beaver comes to Milford for our third home game Friday night of this week while Minersville goes to Delta. Following is the box score for the game with Hinckley: MILFORD 21 Player G. T. F. P.
