Norman Baxter, who is a student stu-dent at the B. A. C. in Cedar City, spent the week-end with home folks. Mrs. George Fernley returned Tuesday from Los Angeles, California, Cali-fornia, after a months visit with Telatives and friends. Kenneth Weston and young sister sis-ter Marjorie of Cedar City arrived in Milford last Friday for several days visit with relatives. Judge and Mrs. E. W. Clay and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schumacher were in from Burbank and Garrison Garri-son for the high school opera Friday Fri-day night, remaining here over Saturday to visit relatives and friends. Adams, a former resident resi-dent of Milford, at which time her husband was roadmaster for the Los Angeles and Salt Lake railroad, rail-road, is here from Riverside, California, Cali-fornia, for a few days visit with friends. The La Mar Outzen home was the scene Saturday afternoon of a merry gathering of children, who helped Ann Marie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Outzen, celebrate her seventh birthday. Wynaught attended the monthly meeting of the Associated Civic Clubs of Southern Utah, held in Salt Lake last Friday and Saturday. The meeting was held there on the invitation of the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce and all those attending were royally treated by Salt Lake civic organizations organi-zations who have come to realize the full importance of this organization organi-zation of 15 counties as a real power in the state. Lang consolation prize. A bundle shower was given last Thursday night for Mrs. Leon Smith of Beaver by her sister, Mrs. Stanley Vorhees. "Cootie" was played during the evening and Mrs. Luella Fisher won the high score prize and Inez Griffiths the consolation prize.
