Show Funeral Is Held ForPeterWeidner Funeral services were held Friday Fri-day afternoon of last week for Peter Weidner, 56, who died suddenly sud-denly the preceding Monday evening eve-ning at his farm home of a heart attack suffered while he listened to his radio. The servces were in charge of Bishop E. H. Bird, who was also the principal speaker. The invocation was offered by J. B. Duncan, who also dedicated the grave in the local cemetery, the benediction being pronounced j by M. J. Christensen. Peter Weidner was born Oc-Fober Oc-Fober 8, 1879, in Hungary. As customary cus-tomary in that country, he learned a trade when he was a boy and had followed his trade of shoe making and shoe repairing throughout his life. He came to the United States in 1902 and on August 3, 1903, married mar-ried Anna Auer in Cincinnati, Ohio. They lived there until 1913, when they moved to Salt Lake City. Since 1920 he and his family had been residents of Milford, where he had operated a shoe repair re-pair shop until the time of his death. He was the father of 15 children, chil-dren, 12 of whom are living. He is survived by his widow and the following sons and daughters: Peter Weidner jr., William Weidner, Weid-ner, Walter Weidner, Helen Weidner, Weid-ner, Pauline Weidner, F. J. Weidner, Weid-ner, Mrs. Elizabeth Martin and Mrs. Lester Jameson, all of Milford; Mil-ford; Mrs. Ken Reese, Cedar City; Mrs. C. J. Bridges, Sevier; Mrs. Irene Theinert, Tucson and Ben Weidner of Los Angeles. He is also survived by 14 living grandchildren. o |
