Here's hoping you have a good time while in Salt Lake and also while on your leave, Lieutenant. Open House Open house, held at Camp DG-35 DG-35 November 30th, was a great success. During the afternoon about 75 people from Milford and Beaver gave the camp a - general inspection and were told about the work project being carried car-ried on by the company. All the people that visited highly praised the camp, men and officers and were pleased to learn more about what is being done by the men of this company. The last few days have lieen busy ones for Lieutenant G. C. Arvin, doctor at camp DG35. With a light form of scarlet fever prevelent in Milford and pneumonia pneu-monia almost on a rampage here in camp, Dr. Arvin has been kept on the run. Major Swift, Fort Douglas district dis-trict inspector, and R. C. Merrill, district educational adviser, were visitors of Camp DG-35 last week. Major Swift gave the camp an excellent ex-cellent rating and the educational education-al program at this camp was given one of the highest ratings in the district by Dr. Merrill. Cigars were passed around to the office force last week by Dr. Arvin. The cigars were given, as is the usual custom, because of the arrival of a baby girl in the Arvin family. Dr. Arvin's new theme song is "My Blue Heaven." |
