Show CHRISTIANSCIENCE "Is the Universe, including Man, Evolved by Atomic Force?" is the subject of the lesson-ser-mon at the Sunday service of the Christian Science Society in Milford Mil-ford June 23. Among" the Scriptural citations are the following: "Thus saith God the Lord, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein. I am the Lord; that as my name; and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images" (Isaiah 42:5, 8). Offered as correlative passages are the following from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Scrip-tures" by Mary Baker Eddy: "The human mortal mind, by an inevitable inevi-table perversion, makes all things start from the lowest instead of from the highest mortal thought. The reverse is the case with all formations of the immortal divine Mind (p. 189). Evolution describes de-scribes the graduations of" human belief, but it does not acknowledge acknow-ledge the method of divine Mind, nor see that material methods are impossible in divine Science or see that material methods are impossible im-possible in: divine Science and that all Science is of God, not of man" (p. 551).
