Show Additional Time Given For Entering Course "America needs wings," said a governmental official recently in connection with the establishment of air training bases throughout the United States. The Branch Agricultural college, Cedar City, has been selected to help give these wings to America, with opportunities op-portunities for 30 young men to learn to fly open at this time, Director Di-rector Henry Oberhansley reported report-ed this week. The previously reported $40 registration fee has been removed, the director said. He further explained ex-plained that southern Utah boys between 18 and 25 should file applications ap-plications and present themselves at the B.A. C. for preliminary ground training which is to begin Monday, June 24, if possible. Two weeks' ground-training are to precede flying, which begins July 1. Director Oberhansley urges immediate im-mediate application by southern Utah boys, otherwise northern boys will be allowed to come and benefit by this training. |
