Asan and family of Spokane, Washington are herl visiting at the home of Mrs. Asan's sister, Mrs. W. H. Denny. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Morris, who were married June 6 in the Salt Lake temple, left Thursday of last week for Fresno, California, Califor-nia, where they will make their home ? Mrs. E. L. Smith went to Salt Lake City Sunday to get her daughter Lucille, who has been spending several weeks in Franklin, Frank-lin, Idaho, her grandfather having brought her as far as the city. LeRoy Coleman jr. and Dorothy McDonald weca married this week at Parowan. The marriage was performed by Bishop W. L. Adams of that place. The young couple will make their home in Milford. Margaret Cochrane, worthy matron of Ruth chapter No. 6 of the local Eastern Star, entertained entertain-ed 21 members and risitors at a card party Tuesday evening. The entertainment was held in the Masonic hall after the regular monthly mieeting. A group of girls enjoyed a weiner roast al the Seely-Mur-dock park Wednesday evening. Those present were Mary Banks, Margaret Cochrane, Ida Jolley, Ruth Pool, Vurleen Tobler, Leah Smith, Norma White, Marie Carlson Carl-son and Nola Killam. Mrs. Ray Mills entertained her bridge club at her home Tuesday night. Those present were Mrs. Faye Bradfield, Ms. Clarence Grimshaw, Mrs. Bob Price, Mrs. A. A. Mclntyre, Mrs. Ross Palmer, Pal-mer, Mrs. Val Yepsen and Mrs. L. E. Lanphere. At bridge Mrs. Price was the winner of the high points prize, Mrs. Palmer the high honors prize and Mrs. Yepsen the consolation prize. Mrs. William Morris entertained entertain-ed in honor of her daughter, Mrs. Clyde Tanner of Los Angeles, California, who has been visiting here for the past two weeks. The evenirf was spent in playing Hop Ching, after which a lovely lunch was served. Those present were Mrs. Delia Glenn, Mrs. Thel-ma Thel-ma Gillins, Mrs. Olive Root, Mrs. Verna Tomsik, Mrs. Barbara Whitbeck, Mrs. Joan Baxter, Mrs. Elma Voorhees, Mrs. Irene Griffiths, Grif-fiths, Mrs. Hilda Nolan, Mrs. Lucille Lu-cille Handley, Mrs. Theon Stone- hocker, Mrs. Evelyn Brannon, Mrs. Lola Tanner and the hostess, Mrs. Morris. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman W. Johnson John-son and young son Tuck, who are now making' their home in Cot-onwood Cot-onwood canyon, near Salt Lake, were in Milford Tuesday, visiting friends and attending to business matters. Mr. Johnson has mining interests in this section- and set up a local assay office three years ago, giving up its operation to return re-turn east. He is now associated with others in the conduct of an assay office at Midvale, and would appreciate any business which may be turned his way by "Beaver county people.
