Show William Bond Dies at Home William Samuel Bond, 82, died Monday, January 21, at his home in Milford from causes incident to age. He was born February 5, 1864, at Porterville, Utah, a son of William and Ann Bonds, who came to America Amer-ica from Engiand as L. D. S. converts. con-verts. Mr. Bond married Armena Bark-dull, Bark-dull, daughter of Solomon Barkdull, in 1885, at Hatton, Utah, and together to-gether they moved to Reed, a small settlement near Milford. He worked for many years on a section gang for the Union Pacific railroad and later bought a farm at Reed. Mr. Bond was ordained a high priest and bishop in 1914 by John F'. Tolton of Beaver. We was superintendent su-perintendent of the L. D. S. Sunday Sun-day school of Reed, and later was elected bishop, holding that position posi-tion for 13 years. In 1927 he purchased a farm in South Milford, and lived there until 1940, when they moved into Milford. He is survived by his wife and five children, William M. Bond, Clinton Bond, Ervin J. Bond, Mrs. George C. Goodwin of Milford. and Mrs. W. R. Poulton of Salt Lake City. Fifteen grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren also survive. sur-vive. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p. m. in the Milford L. D. S. ward chapel, with High Priest Corum in charge of the services and Bishop Ira Fisher serving as director.
