Show Junior Chamber Met On Monday The Milford Junior Chamber of Commerce held its regular meeting meet-ing Monday evening, July 17, at the Union Pacific station. Due to the poor attendance of members, the meeting was devoted to a discussion dis-cussion of various projects necessary neces-sary for the betterment of Milford and Beaver county. No definite program was decided upon at this meeting and a special meeting will be called for Tuesday, Tues-day, July 25, at 7:30 p.m. for the purpose of selecting a summer project. All members are urged to be present. Richard Heslington made a motion, mo-tion, seconded by Walker Finlinson and unanimously passed, that the Junior Chamber resolve to pledge their support to the Fair committee. commit-tee. Due to the fact that the citizens of Milford know little of the activities activi-ties and purposes cf the Junior Chamber, it was decided to present pre-sent one article each week dealing with their activities. The first of these, dealing with the Utah tourist tour-ist "crop" and what it means to the state, will be found in this issue is-sue of The News. |
