Show M i Milford CCC Notes! (By Alan L. Ash) j A trip to Zion canyon was enjoyed en-joyed by 58 members of this com-1 pany last Sunday. Dr. Gitlitz ac- eompanied the two trucks on the i trip and conducted the tour through j the park. The men left early in the morning and arrived at the park about 10:30 a.m. They spent the day by touring around and seeing see-ing the sights. They arrived back i in camp about 9:30 p.m. j Twenty-five men were called to ' help fight a fire near Cedar City! last week and, on the return trip, i were stopped and asked to help put out a small fire in Beaver can- j yon. Neither of the fires was of serious consequence. The company strength was in-' creased to 173 men last Thursday when 22 rookies arrived here from North Georgia and. Tennessee. The new men were taken on a tour of the camp by Lieutenant Ingram and were shown every phase of camp life. They were well pleased to be in such a fine camp and said so at the end of the orientation. |
