Show Scouters Hold District Meeting The regular monthly meeting of the Beaver district Boy Scout committee com-mittee was held Wednesday evening eve-ning in the Milford L. D. S. Recreation Recre-ation hall. All but one of the local troop committeemen were in at-ttendance at-ttendance together with the following fol-lowing patrol leaders: Robert Clark, Bobby Davis and Stanley Hughes, and Scout Dan Gillies. A bus load of Scouts and Scouters Scout-ers representing the two Beaver troops, Minersville and Greenville, were in attendance as well as all the district departmental chairmen and Commissioner S. M. Wittwer. Each troop chairman and each departmental district chairman gave a report of the various activities activi-ties of the past month and, from all indications, a keen interest has been taken in the Scout movement in this district and some very good work accomplished. Chief Executive A. A. Anderson of the Utah National Parks council coun-cil was present and gave a splendid splen-did talk and demonstration on camping and camp equipment and what each Scout will be required to have in the line of camp equipment equip-ment before he is eligible to participate parti-cipate in the annual "Scout outing which will be held in July in the Beaver mountains. The local Scouts have been busily engaged for some time in making pack racks and other equipment and it is hoped that the troop will be represented 100 per cent at the outing. |
