Show Mrs. Effie Fleming and daugh- ! ter Donetta of Marshfield, Wiscon-i Wiscon-i sin arrived in Milford the latter j part of last week for a visit with I local relatives. Mrs. Fleming is a i daughter of Mrs. Alice Peckham land a sister of Mrs. Hazel Moore j and Mrs. Ruth Elam. Mrs. F. E. Casterline left this ' j week for Santa Barbara, Califor-; Califor-; nia, for a visit with her mother, ; Mrs. Alice Wilden, who is in poor ! health. While in California Mrs. I Casterline will visit with her sis-i sis-i ters, Mrs. Aaron Jensen and Mrs. : 0. J. David, and also Ralph Caster-! Caster-! l r.e, all of Los Angeles. Mil', and Mrs. Stanley Voorhees and children, Reid and Beverly, former residents of Milford but now making their home in Salt Lake City, were house guests at the Ross Palmer home last week. While here a family dinner was given for about 20 relatives at the Palmer home, honoring Harvey Voorhees, electrician's mate, third class, who was home on a furlough visit. Members of the Nifty; Needle Sewing club met last Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. D. N. Hickman. Visiting and sewing were enjoyed and those present were Mrs. J. F. Tribole, Mrs. Vern Patterson, Mrs. Dave Tanner, Mrs. Eh Tanner, Mrs. Nolen Openshaw, Mrs. W. P. Frazier, Mrs. Ireta Al-brecht, Al-brecht, Mrs. Fay Anderson, Mrs. Eugene Pitchforth and Mrs. Dick Jones. Mrs. Vic Carlson entertained members of her bridge club Thursday Thurs-day of last week.
