Show Minersville Show Is a Big Success The first of what is hoped will be a steadily growing annual event for Minersville was held there last week-end in the form of a Hereford stock show and its future success would seem to be assured if this year's attendance attend-ance may be taken as a criterion. Livestock men and others were present, not only from all parts of Beaver county but also from Sevier and Millard counties, and many were the words of praise extended to those who had ben instrumental in developing this event for Minersville. The two-day affair ended with a benefit dance Saturday evening at which more than $1000 was raised toward the construction of a new L. D. S. ward chapel. As a constant reminder of this worthwhile project, a large brass iketjtle occupied a conspicious spot and was kept ringing with silver contributions. One of the most interesting features of the two-day event was the boys' judging contest, in which the Beaver and Milford Future Farmers teams won first and third places while the Minersville Min-ersville 4-H team won second place. Very close competition featured this contest.
