Preceding the election of new (officers President Cline read a communication from the state oonjmunica'tion f!rom the 'state fish and game commission, asking ask-ing for recommendations as to setting of open fishing seasons and changes in bag limit, if I i thought advisable. i After general discussion it was decided to endorse the action of the Beaver club in asking for opening of the Minersville reservoir reser-voir and the stream between the dam and Minersville town, on April 15, but it is doubtful if this will be made effective for this season as too little time is allow- ed for legal notice to be given. 1 Also it was decided to recommend recom-mend that Kents lake be opened , May 15, and closed at the discretion discre-tion of the commission as the warm weather makes the fish unpalatable, un-palatable, ah.d that the bag limit bt- the same as was the case last year throughout the state: 8 pounds a day, with not to exceed a two-day limit in possession at any one time. F. L. Osborn drew the atten-" tion of the group to the poaching of pheasants and water fowl and urged that active cooperating deputies be appointed again this year and that an effort be made to secure the appointment of a full-time paid deputy for the wost end of the county. J. H. Weston moved that the club go on record as rerfuei-ting the appointment ap-pointment of such a deputy-warden deputy-warden ar.d the motion was duly seconded and carried.
