Mrs. Parry is a sister oi Mrs. Smith. Thomas Gerrard, manager of the local J. C. Penney store, left Wednesday on a business trip to Salt Lake City. Murdock sr., Mrs. Frank Dolble, Mrs. Vena Wilson, Mrs. 0 C. Koch, Mrs. William Dawson and Mrs. John Low. Mrs. K. B. Coon entertained her bridge cub Tuesday evening. Mrs. Harold Cline, Mrs. Thomas Gerrard Ger-rard and Mrs. R. W. Aches on were prize winners. Mrs.. Laurence Peterson was a guest and other members present were Mrs. B. T Walker, Mrs. G. C. Black, Mrs. A. B. iGilliam and Mrs. S. W. Johnson. John-son. Mrs. D. S. Williams entertained her bridge club at her home Wednesday Wed-nesday night. Those present were Mrs. J. R. Murdock jr., Mrs. Gene Kirk, Mrs. Myron Lewis, Mrs. E. L. Smith, Mrs. J. A. Weston, Mrs. George Moore and Mrs. Harold Cline. Mrs. Williams won high points prie Mrs. Weston high honors prize and Mrs. Kirk consolation con-solation prize. o Mrs. William Hansen of Sail I Lake City is visiting with her sis-1 ter, Mrs. D. W. Muir, and other relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Tanner ot Southirato, California, arrived in Milford Sunday for a visit with local relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Ashwortn and children arrived Saturday from Lung' Beach, California, for a few days visit at the home of Mrs. Ashworth's parents, Mr. and Mrs William Davis, and with other relatives and friends. Mrs. J. C. Smith and daughter Ina left Monday for a visit in Salt Lake City where they were joined join-ed Wednesday by Mr. Smith. Miss Ina will leave from Salt Lake foi Washington D. C, where she will be married in the near future to Hal Norton of Salt Lake who is attending school at the national capital. Mrs. Lee Gray and daughter Lorraine left Wednesday for Salt Lake City, from which place Lorraine Lor-raine is scheduled to leave Sunday on the air-liner trip to Washington, Washing-ton, D. C, as .the state winner ot the "Wings Over America" essay contest conducted in connection with preparalions for national air mail week, May 15-21. Miss Lucile Benice Smith was hostess to a number of schoolmates school-mates Sunday afternoon at a theatre party, the occasion being her eighth birthday. Those enjoying enjoy-ing the afternoon were Madelyr, Kohler, Shirleen Gillins, Charlotte Walker, Mary Lamar Outzen Leah Smith, Elolse Rohn, Marian Bradfield, Deloras Bradfield, Rae Bond and Barbara Stoker. Mrs. M. M. Vincent was hostess last week to the Railroad Firemen Ladies club. Bridge was played with Mrs. K. B. Coon, Mrs. Walter Johnson and Mrs. Nathan Smith receiving the prizes.
