Root and Ruminator Rumi-nator were standing near the lat-ter's lat-ter's residence discussing things in general when Miss Gray passed and asked Postmaster Root as : to .the last minute for mailing the j essay. She . was encouraged to go ahead that she sttood as good a chance as anyone and by all means not to miss it. She was told that others wert oven then jusit getting their essays into typewritten form and she haa ample time before ithe high school fashion show that evening. Apparently Ap-parently she went through with it and as a result, This Milford girl has earning earn-ing to her a trip that Huld not 'help but be p. dear amb-tion amb-tion td every girl and boy in the civilized world! Ahd talking of the high school fashion show, we should be remiss if we did not comment on the fine showing made by Miss Melba Smith and her girls. No, the writer was not there: It was hardly the place for any mere man, much less Mr. Rumin-ator, Rumin-ator, butt Mrs. Ruminator and others have been loud in their praise of the show, which, if it represents rep-resents only one year's work on the parlt of .the girls (and this no doubt is the case) it was nothing short of remarkable and establishes estab-lishes a high mark for accomplishments accomp-lishments in the Milford high school home economics department |
