Show SOUTH MILFORD Mrs. Mary Williams, one of the federal enumerators for the Milford Mil-ford district, is busy taking een-,sus. een-,sus. Don Elmer, student at Westminister West-minister college, spent the spring vacation with home folks. Mr. and Mrs. A. Bradshaw and J Mr. and Mrs. Leon Jones attend- ed the funeral services of Mrs.i Elizabeth Bradshaw Monday in Beaver. R. L. Bradshaw and wife of Caliente were also in attendance attend-ance and remained for a few days visit They are former residents. We are sorry to learn of the severe eye trouble of Jess Vc-Knight, Vc-Knight, 1939 graduate of the Milford Mil-ford high school, who recently returned re-turned home from school in Logan. Lo-gan. The Social Hour club met last Thursday with President Sadie Griffith, presiding. Committees were appointed to prepare for the annual club birthday party which will be held May 16. All former! members will be honored guests. I After the business meeting Mrs. Leonard Bowen very creditably gave a review of "The Nazarene". Mrs. Bowen and Mrs. Carl Elmer, co-hostesses, used spring as a motif, with a centerpiece of violets and hyacinths. A lovely two-course two-course luncheon was served to the following: Mesdames Abe Hes-lington, Hes-lington, Ivan McKnight, Morgan Griffith, W. J. Baker, Jack Dixon, Kent Smith, Clair Gillins and C. E. Allred. The April 18 meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. McKnight. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Elmer were hosts to the Community club Saturday Sat-urday evening. A delicious hot dinner was served at 8:30 to the following members: Mr. and Mrs. Kent Smith, President and Mrs. Morgan Griffith, Mr. and Mrs.; Ivan McKnight, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer El-mer and Miss Margaret Hanlon, an invited guest. A number of relatives were served a delicious dinner Sunday at the Obra Myers home, the occasion oc-casion being Mr. Myers' birth an-nivesary. an-nivesary. Mr. and Mrs. I. Mitchell Fisher attended the L. D. S. general con-i ference in Salt Lake City. Accompanying Ac-companying them home was Mrs. Fisher's sister. Miss Ruth Terry, , of Rigby, Idaho, who will visit in Milford for some time. - ! |
