Show (MINERSVILLE Mr. and Mrs. Howard Waters of Mapleton spent a few days of last week here with relatives. Miss Lola Roberts has returned home from Copperton where she has been teaching school. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Thomas and sons Dick, Aril and Allen of Garfield Gar-field spent Saturday night here. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and son Allen ' returned to their home Sunday but Dick and Aril remained here where they will spend the summer with their grandmother, Mrs. Lillie Roberts. Rob-erts. Miss Melba Jameson returned home Monday allter attending school at the Dixie college. Miss Grace Joseph spent Thursday Thurs-day at Cedar Citv with her sister Itha. Burton Banks of Arizona is here visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Randall Banks. Mj-sv Sara Dotson of iGlendale, California is here to spend the summer sum-mer with relatives. Mrs. John M. Griffith is spending a few days at Boulder dam. Orrin Burke of California has been in town with friends. Mrs. R. M. Banks has as a house guest her sister, Mrs. Gwen Hunter. The Misses Katherine and Lee Smithson of Milford visited at the Josiah Osborne home Wednesday evening. The following Sunday School officers of-ficers and teachers attended Sunday School convention at Beaver Sunday: Sun-day: Frjances Wood, Velma .Davis, Ida Richards, Nona Marshall, Lillian Lil-lian Carter, Pauline Mathews, Helen and Hanna. Pryor, Olive Hardy, Dorthy Banks, Oliver Graff, Elder Delbert Jameson, L. V. Rollins, Harold Har-old Baker, Authinell Caijter, Clyde and Garland Hollingshead. EMer Authinell Carter will be honored at a farewell testimonial and social at the high school gymnasium gym-nasium Thursday evening prior to his departure for the Western States mission. Elder Carter will leave Salt Lake City June 15 for hi? mission. Mrs. and Mrs. Horace Corbridge announce the marriage o f their daughter Sylvia Rollins, to Marcine Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wood are re ceiving congratulations on the ar- rival of a daugter born Hay 21. Members of the Mothers club met May 19 at the home of Mrs. Frank 'Ect.erts.
