Show Former Editor Is , Given Charge of Iowa Campaign Lee C. Brown, former publisher of the Milton (Iowa) Herald and publisher pub-lisher of the Milford News from 1928 to 1930, disposed of his Milton newspaper news-paper interests right after his return trip to the west and has been employed em-ployed by Ernest H. Fabritz, of Ot-trumwa, Ot-trumwa, to help manage his cam paign for election to congress. Mr. Fabritz, who is the Democratic nominee nomi-nee in the fifth (Iowa) district, will have the services of Mr. Brown in his office at Ottumwa, as well as in general promotion of his campaign throughout his district, which embraces em-braces 14 counties. Mr. Brown assumed as-sumed his duties this week. Mr. Brown, who published the Herald from February, 1931, to June 1934, and who, during a portion of this time served as mayor of Milton, is contemplating moving back to Bloomfield, his old home, although his plans in this respect are not definite. de-finite. o |
