Show Registration Days At Branch College Registration days for the Branch Agricultural college at Cedar City will be Saturday, September 8, and Monday, September 10, and the enrollment en-rollment outlook is exceedingly good. From present prospects the enrollment enroll-ment will exceed anything in previous previ-ous years. Additions to the faculty for the coming year include Parley Dalley head of the department of basic science, who returns after a year's leave of absence spent in studying at 'the University of Southern California, Califor-nia, and Gilbert L. Janson, head of the department of business and ' social science, who returns after a year's leave of absence spent in studying at the Columbia university. univer-sity. Replacing Erma Lloyd in the ladies physical education department will be Maxine Heiss,. M. A., from Columbia university, while . Burns Finlayson, M. A., graduate of the Brigham Young University and postgraduate post-graduate of the University of California, Cali-fornia, replaces Scott Matheson in the social science department. Mr. Finlinson also spent one year with the University Afloat. Leland Olson, M.A., Utah State Agricultural college, col-lege, will take the place of Arthur Fife, who has been granted a one year leave of absence for government govern-ment work in Albuquerque, New j Mexico. Frances Knott, B.S., U.S.A.C. has been added to the faculty in the department of home economics. The I remainder of the faculty is intact as of last year. |
