Show MINERSVILLE NEWS A baby boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ben Croff, Monday, May 21. Mss Margaret Wood, from Beaver, is here visiting with Mrs. Annie Wood. Mrs. May Craw and her son, Frank, who have been spending the winter in Pioche, have returned to Miners-ville, Miners-ville, where they will spend the summer. sum-mer. The Junior and Senior Bee-Hive Girls left Sunday, May 20, for Zion Canyon where they will spend a few days. Their chaperons were. Miss Idella Dahl, Miss Agnes Wilson, and Miss Vilda Murdock. Fay Colton and Miss Mabel Bar- nett left Monday, May 21, for Salt Lake where they will be married. They will then visit with the bride's mother at Ogden, Utah, and will return re-turn and make their future home in Mjnersville. Miss Opal Thompson and Miss Marjorie Thompson were the afternoon after-noon guests of Miss Larue Myers and Miss Mildred Hardy Tuesday. Miss Leah Colton has gone to Salt j Lake and will be there on a visit for two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Banks were in Beaver Sunday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. John Gunn. I Guardell Banks, who has been working for the Union Pacific, is here visiting his parents. I Mr. and Mrs. Guy Carter are the proud parents of a baby. ' Miss Lorna Sudweeks, of Kingston, I Utah, is here visiting with friends and J reatives. Memorial Services were held at the Minersville cemetery on Decoration Decora-tion Day. The program was as follows fol-lows : Prayer, R. W. Dotson; Song, Alvin Baker; Speech, Leonard Bowen of Milford; Patriotic selections were given by the Milford Band; Gun salute was given over the grave of soldier, Leroy Eyre. Many people were present. The graves were decorated with many beautiful flowers. |
