It was explained that the money to be made available next year through the Colton-Odie bill, j had been passed for just such roads as the one connecting Beaver and .Piute county. The emissaries to Salt Lake City from these two counties coun-ties will endeavor to have the state include their part of the road building build-ing in their budget for next year. This road is a continuation of highway 21 from Ely, Nev., through Milford and Beaver, and opening it up to connect to Sevier county highway high-way is an important step toward increasing in-creasing the California tourist travel to the southern Utah parks over this route. The question of having the Beav-er-Miltord section of this highway oiled next year, will also be taken up by the commissioners with the State Road commission, as well as a number of minor county road matters. |
