Show COUNTY JAILS TAXED TO UTMOST The county bastile in Beaver, is full to over-flowing, in fact there was not ' a cell left for a man charged with murder and he is being held in the town jail in Milford. Four occupants serving from thirty to sixty days in the county jail, are ' Aubra Patterson, William Martin, Fred Huntington and William Lees. This number was augmented this j week by two boys from California, who broke into the Beaver Bakery and stole a lot of cakes and a foun-' foun-' tain pen. A hitch-hiker from Bakers-I Bakers-I field, Calif., was placed in the jail Tuesday on the charge of robbing his benefactor, who had given him a 1 "lift," of thirty dollars. With this motley crowd of inmates, ( Sheriff Jensen was unable to find room in the county jail when murder j was committed for the man charged , with the deed, and he has been held in ' Milford town jail. i |
