Show SCOUTS PASS THEIR TENDERFOOT TESTS John A. Young, Boy Scout executive, execu-tive, was here from Cedar City Sunday Sun-day and Monday in the interests of local scout work. Sunday evening he addressed the congregation at the regular Sunday services of the L. D. S. church on the subject of 'Scouting.' 'Scout-ing.' The following evening, he conducted con-ducted the Boy Scouts Honor Council at the scout rooms in the library building. The following program was given at the latter occasion. Invocation Rev. Homer E. Root. Songs by boys. Candle Ceremony Benediction, D. A. Tanner. All of the boys passed their tenderfoot tender-foot tests and were awarded badges and subscribed to the scout oath. The memhers of the Milford Lions club Troop are ; Flying Eagle Patrol : Melvin Bowman, Bow-man, patrol leader; Albeit Murdock, Farrell Peterson, Chas. Clements, Richard White. Lion Patrol: Vivian Tait, Patrol Leader; Marion Bowman, Clyde Griffiths, Grif-fiths, Delmar Kirk, Kenneth Weston, Leon Jones, and Rex Lloyd. The men in charge of the local scout organization are Henry Bowman Bow-man scoutmaster; R. E. Banks and Frank Farmer, assistant Scoutmasters, Scoutmast-ers, and Tom Schow, Senior Patrol Leader. |
