Show RIGHT DISTRIBUTION OF WATER KEYNOTE OF FARM SUCCESS RESERVOIR SUPPLY IS BELOW NORMAL AT ROCKY FORD Continuing the description of Milford Mil-ford Valley's irrigation system, which was begun in this paper last week, a brief survey of the workings of the Rocky Ford Reservoir was recently made, and the impressions obtained are published at this time. Water Not Too Plentiful It should be said in connection with the reservoir, that an erroneous impression im-pression was recently left with the writer in regard to the qauntity of water available for this year's use. A remark was heard that the reservoir reser-voir was nearly full a month ago, and would soon be pouring over the locks. This was an error, as Superintendent F. B. Robinson states that the snowfall snow-fall was very light this past year, with the exception of upon the extreme ex-treme highlands, and consequently the supply of water was far below normal. Only by careful apportioning of the water will there be enough I'or this year, but if discretion is used, it is thought that there will be aifieient. The incorrect statement relative to the supply of water has created an impression that there should be more for use on the individual in-dividual farms than Mr. Robinson can really allow.
