Show o TO MANUFACTURE "DRY ICE" IN CARBON COUNTY Extensive improvements and alterations al-terations in the dry ice plant at the Farnham dome will be made during the month of September and work will probably be started on the erection erec-tion of the new plant this month, it was announced Tuesday by Cava-naugh, Cava-naugh, manager of the plant, who attended the weekly meeting of the board of directors of the Price chamber cham-ber of commerce Tuesday. It was intimated by Mr. Cava- naugh that the site for the new plant had not been selected yet because he said that it would be built either at Farnham, a few miles south of the dome on the railroad line, Wellington Well-ington or at Price. A pipe line will be built to carry raw gas from the well to the factory, Mr. Cavanaugh said, and the machinery together with the buildings and labor involved will cost a considerable turn, well over the hundred thousand mark. At the present time the sale of dry ice is confined to ice cream dealers and other jobbers of perishable merchandise, mer-chandise, Mr. Cavanaugh said, but with the coming of the fall season a large amount will be shipped in refrigerator re-frigerator cars, necessitating the hauling of the product from the present pre-sent plant to the railroad.
