Show BEAVER HONORS ITS OLDEST RESIDENT ( William R. Anderson, Beaver City's oldest male resident and a veteran of the Black Hawk Indian war, was honored on his eighty-ninth birthday birth-day anniversary Tuesday by a family reunion at his ranch home. ' His nine living children and their families, who attended are: Martin H. Anderson, Salt Lake; Mrs. Jane Lang, Milford; Mrs. Nettie Painter, Bakersfield, Calif.; Mrs. Eliza Gunn, Mrs. Ida Tattersall, Mrs. Cinda White, Mrs. Ireta Morris, Mrs. Retta Dalton and John Anderson, Beaver. Dinner was served lat noon. In the afternoon there was a program and games. The recently organized southwest camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers selected the name "Anderson "Ander-son camp" in honor of this veteran. |
