Mr. Anderson has returned to his duties again as teacher in the district school. A. Thompson the new road master has made several trips to Milford ' this past week. I Oren Goodwin returned Monday from a few days visit in Salt Lake City and with his brother at Lehi. Miss Mildred and Virginia Nichols are spending a few days with relatives rela-tives and friends. Trenholm is back after spending spend-ing the sumtmer at Hooper with his daughter. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Paul Beecher, principal prin-cipal of the high school, are nicely located at the Sloan Apartments. Miss Mary Richards returned from Los Angeles where she has been visiting vis-iting at the Bert Tait home. P. B. Parkinson of Cedar City spent Tuesday in Milford looking after af-ter his patients. 1 Born Sunday, at the Milford Hospital, Hos-pital, to Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Brad-field, Brad-field, a fine baby daughter. C. B. Netchall and Harry Martin with the Standard Oil Company, are here from Bakersfield, Calif., looking after the business of their company. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Pool left this morning for Cedar City to attend a district meeting of the Penney Store managers. Mrs. Moore is a former resident of Milford. Mil-ford. C. F. Lrenesch was forced to land his plane at Milford on Thursday last on account of the wind. Miss Patty Willis was a passenger going to Los Angeles. Miss Susie Nay of Blackrock, is here attending school. Miss Lavella Watts of Kanosh is visiting at the L. R. Bowen home. Mrs. W. G White left Tuesay evening even-ing for Salt Lake Cify on business. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Farmer are back from their vacation. Mrs. Myron Lewis and son David spent the week end at Salt Lake City. Mrs. Vena H. Wilson left today with Mrs. Edith Coffeen and children for a week's vacation in California. Miss Marjorie White returned home after spending the past two months at Ely, Nev. Wm. Jewell and J. P. Murray of Salt Lake were here Saturday and Sunday. I. H. Burton of San Francisco spent a few days with us this past week. Al Kirk has been working at the Telluride Power while Roy White, Jr., was on his trip. Miss Virginia Nichols of Salt Lake City is spending her vacation with her dad and family. Mr. and Mrs. Affleck and son returned re-turned home Sunday from Logan where they spent their vacation. . (Mrs. Erma Neil and ibaby of Ely, Nev., are visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Davis. jH'airry (Pundt and father of Salt Lake City, were transacting business in Milford Monday and Tuesday. Among the Beaver visitors in Milford Mil-ford Tuesday were Mesdames James Yardley, Reuben Parkinson, Lloyd Wheeler and Ruby Potter. Mrs. A. L. Webb and grand-daughter Betty Jean Berry, returned home from a months visit with relatives in Kansas. Mrs. Chas. McCully is assisting in the office of Dr. Bybee, taking the place of Miss Grace Howe, who is leaving Saturday to make her home in Salt Lake. : Steve Bowman, who has been in Logandale, Nev., for the past two months, lhas been spjending a Jfew days with his family in Milford. He expects to return to his work in Nevada Ne-vada Saturday. C. A. Rasmussen the Provo sewing machcine man was here Friday last. L. J. Smith of Denver made his usual us-ual visit here recently. ' Miss Lucille Koch daughter of Mr. Koch of the Telluride Power Co. is here from Delta spending a two weeks vacation. Miss Jean Woodside of Salt Lake City and Miss Edna Bunnell of Eureka Eure-ka are with us again as teacchers for this school year. Mrs. E. M. Barlett of Santa Monica, Mon-ica, Calif., is here visiting at the home of her brother, L. R. Bowen and family. Mrs. Wm. Tinder returned home Sunday from Uvado, Nev., where she has visited with her husband the past two weeks. R. C. Stratten of Salt Lake City transacted (business (in Milford for several days the past and present week. William Cochrane left Friday for Los Angeles to resume his studies in the Occidental College, where he is a senior. Mrs. Carl Levi returned from Beaver Friday where she had spent several days as a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Burl Ashworth. Miss Gladys Coleman is taking a week's vacation from her duties at the Jefferson Mercantile Co., and is spending it in Salt Lake City. She was accompanied by her sister Miss Beth, who will enter college in Salt Lake City for the coming term. Roy White, Jr., Thorld White and Roy White, Sr., spent Sunday and Monday at Panguitch Lake fishing. They report that their catch was very good. Mrs. E. L. Smith and daughter, accompanied ac-companied by her mother, Mrs. Smith of Franklin, Idaho, arrived home Monday from Cedar City where they spent the summer. |
