Show L YD IS DROWNED AT CASTLE DALE Harlan Aikland, thirteen years old so 1 of Mr. and M.s. LaVern Aik-h Aik-h :ul, was drowned Saturday in the C.stle Dale river when he fell in the water while attempting to cross on a pole which was stretched from bank to bank. The accident occurred while the boys and a little cousin wre awaiting for the return of two o'r.er boys who had returned to Castle Cas-tle Dale for fishing tackle to compete com-pete a fishing trip. When the boys returned, Harlan's cousin, four years old, said that he fell m, and the boys became alarmed. alarm-ed. Charles Mangussen was called by the boys and succeeded in recovering re-covering the body. There was a b uise on the forehead, which indicated in-dicated that he had struck his head w ien he fell in the water. Funeral strvices were held on Monday at noon. His parents, four sisters and a brother survive. Price Sun. |
