Show GET SECOND PLACE AT COUNTY TRACK MEET IN BEAVER IIII.LTOITKRS LOOK TO REGIONAL MKLT AT ST. GLORviH The Mil ford High School track team, handicapped by inclement 1 weather, is making preparations to I enter in the regional tournament on I May X The Dixie high school, at St. George, will be hosts to Southern South-ern Utah athletes on that cate. Schools entered are Hinckley, Delta, Heaver, Minersville, Mil ford, Hurri-cant, Hurri-cant, I'arowan and Dixie. Hurricane won the meet last year. Without the services of Lawrence Webb, Milford failed to come through as good as was expected at the county coun-ty meet held in Heaver last week. However, Palmer, of Milford, managed man-aged to win enoughp ooints to be high scorer of the meet. Beaver won this year with 70 points; Milford, .second with 35; and Minersville, 3rd, with G. Last year, the meet was much more closely contested. This year, Palmer won the dashes; Heaver took most of the field events; while Milford won the half-mile relay and Beaver took the wreath in the mile relay. The middled istance runs were swept by Beaver. |
