Show INTEREST IN OIL WELL AGAIN RISES SAMPLE SAID TO CONTAIN QUANTITY OF CRUDE OIL Walter James, who directs the work at the James Oil well, is much enthused over present indications at 'he site of the drilling. A sample of hailed liquid from the well was brought into Milford a few days azo and it is purported, by those who z-laim to know, that the sample contained con-tained a good percent of crude oil. It is said that the solution had all the appearance of black petroleum and that it smeSk-d like oil. From the time that the well was .spudded in, which was over two years ago, Mr. James has been serenely confident that he would obtain oil in commercial quantities. All of Milford is hoping him that he is right. |
