Show LOCALS and PERSONALS Mr. and Mrs. Lester Carter have returned from an extended visit with Mrs. Carter's parents at Panguitch. Lloyd Lee and E. L. Ferguson spent last Friday and Saturday fishing at Puffer's Lake. Mrs. Al Joest is visiting relatives in Salt Lake City. Miss Anna Chapman was here from Modena, Wednesday. Mrs. Frank Galnor and Mrs. J. E. Yither have returned from a trip to Salt Lake. George Litchfield left for Puffer's Lake ear'y Wednesday morning. E. M. Winans, of Seligman, Ariz., spent last week here visiting his wife, Mrs. Mary Vincent Winans, then left for Alberqueque, New Mexico. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Johnston who were married recently in Salt Lake City, have returned and will make their home in Milford. Mrs. Charles Ford and daughter, Ellen, spent Thursday and Friday in Salt Lake City. After having spent a week visiting his sister, Mrs. John Summerhays, at Salt Lake, Allen Carter is back again. Lawrence Webb and Ralph Tanner have returned to Milford after a trip to Seattle, Washington, and other points on the Pacific coast. Mrs. Mattie Armstrong, Mrs. D. A. Workman, Mrs. Roy Outzen and children chil-dren spent Monday and Tuesday at Marysvale. Mrs. A. J. Atkin entertained at lunch on Tuesday in honor of Mr. and Mrs. William H. DeWolfe, now of Santa Ana, California. Mr. and Mrs. DeWolfe were prominent business people of Milford a few years back. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Ryan have issued cards announcing the arrival of a baby boy, saying, "There's a new little bud on our family tree." Mr. and Mrs. S. C. Calaway of Fresno, Cal., were here last Friday. , H. R. Strother of Salt Lake, has been here installing new machinery in the Parrish Creamery. H. Osborne was here Sunday from Cedar City. Atkin, Mrs. Glenn and Mrs. Scott Tanner. E. L. Taylor of Pioche, Nevada and E. L. Taylor, of Salt Lake, were here on mining business Tuesday.- Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Ryan have spent most of the week in Milford. Robinson Brothers of Paragoonah, were here this week looking into their sheep interests. E. F. Barkalow, of Caliente, Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Anderson of Modena, H. J. Farmer and Harry M. Brandt, all visited our city this week. Clyde D. Simpson, of- the Waterworks Water-works Equipment Company of Salt Lake, was in Milford Wednesday, selling supplies. Frank Carter will leave soon for Logan where he has decided to enter the Agricultural college. Frank has been employed as caller by the Union Pacific. John Ashworth has accepted" a position posi-tion at the White Market. The following people comprised party which motored to Bryce's canyon can-yon Monday, returning Wednesday evening: Mrs. W. T. Morley, granddaughter, grand-daughter, Florence Erickson, Mrs. Morley's daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Stroll, of Salt Lake, and their son, Hal, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Moore and son, Wallace, drove to Salt Lake Thurs-, Thurs-, day for a day. Wallace will remain there for work at Westminnster College. . |
