CALIENTE BAND AT CELEBRATION The Caliente Union Pacific Band under the leadership of Prof. Frank R. Wilcox, contributed greatly to the success of the three day celebration staged in Caliente. The band, looking most nifty in their new blue uniforms, opened the celebration with a street parade and played concerts on Satur: day and Sunday, on Monday they were in service for the entire day, the crowd following the band, the tuneful music being the greatest factor in the success of the celebration. The personnel per-sonnel of the Caliente Union Pacific band is as "follows: Director, Prof. F- R. Wilcox; cornets, John C. Evans, Melvin Jones, Howard Sherwood, Lorin Lee, Lawrence Pace; trombones, trom-bones, Evan Edwards, Paul Quacken-bush, Quacken-bush, Dan Anderson, E. L. Oakley; saxophones, Sam Barton, Jack Ellison El-lison and Dan Pete; clarinet, Aubrey Denton; baritone, Lee Liston; altos, Byron' Forbes, Reeves Liston; bass Carl Scannell, Tom Marshall; drums, Lester Denton, Jr., Vaughn Peck and Ray J.
