Show Inquest verdict 15 "unavoidable" WITNESSES TESTIFY THAT YOUNG BOWMAN DROVE CAR SLOWLY ''Unavoidable", was the verdict reached after an inquest was held to lietermine the cause and responsibility tor the death of little De Revo Holt The child was struck by an automo- j bile driven by Marion Bowman, on Sunday, Sept. 29. The inquest was1 heard before Justice Herbert Nichols, ! last Saturday morning at nine ; o'clock. I About ten witnesses were summon- ed to testify. The speed of the auto- I mobile w-as estimated to have been i about fifteen miles an hour by most j of the witnesses. Young Bowman stated that he was traveling about twenty miles an hour. The boy gave a straightforward story. He stated; that his attention was diverted when' he was a short distance from the , child by having water from a hose p'nyfully flipped at him as he drove : by a person watering his lawn.
