Cline Resigns Other business before the Lions this week was hearing the resignation resigna-tion of President Al Cline, who wrote the secretary that he would be out of Milford and not be able to attend to the duties of office. To Act Harold Cline reported on the Union Pacific flood-control plans, which were greeted with approbation by the club. Mr. Cline stated that it was the duty of the club to help the railroad rail-road in its plans in any way that the club could best function. To Meet at L. D. S.' M. H. Pool gave current events. It was announced that the hearing at Beaver on the U. P. Bus Franchise petition would be Thursday or Friday Fri-day of this week. It was decided to meet next Thursday for luncheon at the L. D. S. Church, where a church bazaar will be given. The meeting this week was at the Milford Hotel dining room. |
