Show I MINERSVILLE NEWS I Frank Micklesen, of Parowan, spent the week-end here visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Eyre spent Friday at Parowan visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Herrick McQuarrie and son, Gerald, of Compton, Calif., are here visiting Mrs. McQuarrie's parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Hall. Dr. Warren Shepherd, of Salt Lake City, visited here with relatives and friends Sunday. BIRTHDAY PARTY Miss Iona Hall was the honored guest at a party Tuesday evening, it being her birthday anniversary. Dainty Dain-ty refreshments were served to ten couples. County Agent Lew Mar Price of Beaver was transacting business here Tuesday. Walter Walker, of Eureka, called on Thomas Gillins and family or Tuesday. Willard Shepherd, of Beaver, wa-here wa-here Sunday visiting relatives. Miss Lenna Stewart, of Adams-ville, Adams-ville, spent the week-end here as the guest of Viola Gillins. Dr. Charles R. Parrish held a meeting meet-ing with the dairymen Tuesday evening ev-ening in the interest of the Parrish creamery. CARD PARTY Mrs. H. L. Hall was hostess at a card party Saturday evening. Mrs. Nettie Myers won the high score prize. Delicious refreshments were served to sixteen couples. The hostess host-ess was assisted in serving by Mrs. Herrick McQuarrie. Miss Nora Sherwood entertained the Junior girls at her home Wednesday Wednes-day evening. Covers were laid for ten guests. t |
